the tooth that advances the date wheel is slightly too short, and it doesn't manage to advance the wheel properly.
the position of the date wheel teeth isn't quite correct, either, and has to be adjusted by modifying the jumper

now the teeth of the date wheel sit in the right position to be advanced properly
dial and hands on, and casing, when I notice that the date quick-set doesn't work
the quick-set lever doesn't engage properly as the position of the teeth of the date wheel has changed
