What looked first to be a straightforward service, kept me on my toes for a whole day.

I needed a new crown, pendant tube, mainspring, a barrel bridge screw, a dial screw (both missing), and a new set lever spring.

What kept me busy for a couple of hours was trying to find the culprit why the beat error and rate fluctuated widely, and I didn't get a clear timegrapher image. I finally found that the safety pin for the balance roller was slightly bent up, and sometimes touched the roller!
