Even though the movement is stamped as an ETA7001, it's identical to the Nomos alpha, and has the single bridge instead of the two bridges for barrel and gear train that the 7001 has... It also has the alpha click construction, and the hacking lever that you can't find in the 7001.
As the alpha was released in April 2005, but Wempe had their 125th anniversary in May 2005, my guess is that this was one of the first alpha movements released - still under the old ETA 7001 name.
