With a solid 400 visits per day, this blog has a very regular following, and I’m very grateful that you have stuck with me so far.
I would like to open this blog once a month (or more often if there is enough material) for all of you. Rather than me pontificating about my work, it would be interesting to hear what you are up to. There are lots of you that have sizeable collections, and most of you know more about one particular brand that you collect than I do.
We would all profit from a little exchange of ideas, and that’s just what I would like to do. If you are interested in writing an article for this blog, just post a reply with what you would like to write about, and I will set you up an account so that you can write your own post.
I’m very much looking forward to see what interesting stuff you will come up with!

Hi hi!
I’m just waiting for a case vice and rolex caseback tool in the mail. once those are in, i’m going to be taking a photo diary and writing up a review of Thomas Preik’s sapphire caseback.
i was going to post to a forum or two. if you like, i can also post on this page as well.
lemme know!
Best Regards,
Matte
Hi Matte,
As you are going to post that to some forums, I don’t think it’s necessary to post the same thing here. I don’t really believe in replicating content over the internet, and I’d rather have unique content on the blog. But thank you very much for the offer!

This is a good idea… if only I could think of something original or interesting to say about any of my watches 😉
Hi Christian
I do, next to repairing, some modding. You repaired one day a Seiko BB Homage.
I build one myself. You can see the process here.: http://tentotwo1.wordpress.com/2013/01/03/as-promised-the-making-of-a-seiko-skx-bb-tribute/
If you like I can share some of my mods with you.
http://www.tentotwo.nl , predominately Seiko.
Hi John,
I’ve set you up on the site with a username and password, which should have been mailed to you. If not, give me a shout and I will mail them again.
Looking forward to your post! I know we have another Seiko mod fan, so it will be interesting.

Great idea Christian. I sure a lot of your regular blog fans (including me) wouldn’t dream of tackling a watch repair; the theory and schematics are easily followed & understood, but the actual mechanics….well, thats a whole different level.
Is your kind offer only restricted to those expert individuals, with the knowledge and skill to actually tackle watch repairs?
No, I’d like posts about anything – your collection, a bit of history about a certain maker, or just something watch related that you are passionate about. Best with images 😉
Well, in that case, I might just cobble something together for your approval….
I put together a review (my first & only) a couple of years ago here http://forums.watchuseek.com/f275/review-ocean-vintage-gmt-499096.html
Enough said about Watchuseek on your blog (that justifiable rant had me in stiches)….to be honest I hardly ever look at Watchuseek these days! 😉
Great – I’ve set you up with an account as well, and you should have gotten an email with the log-in details.
Cheers!
