Today I started servicing an epic 6105-8110. The owner wanted a new crystal, dial, bezelinsert and hands.
I could convince him to keep it original, and only change the old crystal for a new sapphire.
Ready for the cleanup
Movement back together, and ticking..
Not bad. Liftangle was not set right, but later on it measured 210 degrees.
Putting back together the dial side
And the new crystal
Dial and hands….
Casing up
Ready, wit a new sapphire
can you get liquid lume and pour into the small circle at the top of the bezel. My bezel has a crack at the top where the small florescent dot is. Should I just get a new ring with the numbers on it and replace the cracked one?
On my 6105 I have a small wire under the bezel. I can’t find this on any other watch. I think it helps retain the bezel…. have you seen this wire or heard of it. My watch says its a 6105-8000T. The serial number on it is 8302107. It’s in a silver case. My friend bought it in Viet Nam and I bought it off him.
Lots of watches have a wire spring to hold the bezel in place, but your watch should have a rubber o-ring there.
Hello john.

Needs some lume pouring in to the hole at the top of the bezel, but apart from that the condition wouldn’t bother me at all; degraded glass does though!
